Agricultural Bioaerosols – IRSST technical data sheet
Quebec Occupational Health and Safety Research Institute (IRSST) has just published a technical data sheet informing on respiratory protection against agricultural bioaerosols.
Conceived to help the prevention activities, this technical data sheet, named Agricultural Bioaerosols offers general and practical information on respiratory protective equipment. The micro-organisms generated by animals and the decomposition of organic matter may cause respiratory problems. The authors propose different types of respiratory protection devices and some instructions for use.

MARRTC researchers put together a DVD to help people in the agricultural industry deal with arthritis. The DVD, titled “Farming with Arthritis,” features farmers in real-life scenarios. It is also a useful tool for physicians and other health-care providers in better understanding the challenges specific to farming population.
